Post-holiday Syndrome Among Students.

When returning to school after an unrestrained holiday, many students will suffer from post-holiday syndrome, whose symptom include fatigue, lack of appetite, fear of school, and a feeling of depression.

In fact, post-holiday syndrome is a disorder of nervous and immune systems, which is mainly caused by the irregular lifestyle during the holiday. A large number of students overindulge themselves in eating and drinking and do little exercises. Besides, they are addicted to TV series, video games and surfing the Internet, which means staring at screens for a long time. What’s worse, they break regular bedtime schedule, which makes it difficult to go back to routine study timetable and life pace.

There are several suggestions to combat this syndrome. First of all, stick to a normal schedule over the holidays so you can adjust to study quickly. Second, keep a reasonable diet and do exercises. Last, stay relaxed and an early return can give you enough time to readjust your body and mind.
